●Commitment 1
Our tea master carefully selected matcha that pairs well with milk. The flavor of the tea remains strong even when mixed with the rich taste of milk, and the vibrant green color stands out.

●Commitment 2
We blended it with gently sweet Wasanbon sugar. Our tea master's blending techniques are also applied to the sugar, creating a unique umami flavor. The ingredients are also kept simple.

【Tsuboichi Seicha Honpo】
Tsuboichi was founded in Sakai in 1850, at the end of the Edo period. For over 170 years, based on the belief that "tea connects people," we have provided high-quality, fresh, safe, secure, and affordable tea as "tea for daily life."

Furthermore, based on the idea that tea contributes to health, we were among the first to independently research deep-steamed tea and oolong tea, gaining support not only in Sakai but also from customers nationwide.

Tsuboichi has continued to manufacture and sell tea for over 170 years, adapting to the times.

Tsuboichi began in 1850 when Ichibei Tanimoto founded a tea wholesaler in Senshu Sakai. By the time Kobe Port opened in 1868, the business had expanded to the point of establishing a branch office, and in the early Meiji period, tea was exported from Kobe and Yokohama ports.

It is also said that tea plantations were cultivated in the Enshu region around this time. This coincides with the period when Eiichi Shibusawa contributed to tea production and sales.

During the period of rapid economic growth, when tea consumption exploded and domestic tea production could no longer meet demand, the fourth-generation head, Yozo Tanimoto, was quick to start importing Taiwanese tea.

This led to the oolong tea boom in Japan. In the Heisei era, foreseeing the increasing importance of food safety and security, we built a state-of-the-art factory at the time and obtained ISO certification.

Then, in February 2023, we acquired "FSSC22000," an international standard for food safety management systems. "FSSC22000" is positioned as the highest rank of food safety standards, encompassing many standards such as ISO.

It can be said that Tsuboichi's food safety system has been further strengthened to a global standard to continuously provide safe products to everyone.
