The Yoichi Distillery was founded by Masataka Taketsuru, the father of Japanese whisky, in the cold, harsh northern land where the sea breeze blows. This rich single malt, produced through the world's rare coal-fired distillation method, is further matured for 10 years. It is characterized by woody and sweet oak barrel aromas, fruit aromas like ripe banana, and powerful, complex malt notes.
